요약문

현재 상용화되거나 개발중인 전과정평가 소프트웨어는 데이터베이스 기능 및 가격 등이 다양하다. 즉, 경제적 및 기능적인 측면에서 소프트웨어마다 장·단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 전세계적으로 사용되거나 개발중인 소프트웨어에 중에서 광범위한 데이터베이스 및 기능을 포함하고 있는 GaBi, KCL-ECO, LCAiT, SimaPro 및 TEAM^TM을 일정 기준에 의거 선택한 후 특성을 비교 평가하였다. 이중 GaBi가 ISO 14040에서 언급한 절차에 따라 전과정평가를 수행할 수 있는 형식을 갖추고 있으며 사용자가 사용하기 편리한 다양한 인터페이스를 포함하고 있는 것 으로 판단된다. 이 연구에서는 소프트웨어의 기능적인 측면만을 평가하였기 때문에 전과정평가 수행자가 가격, 데이터베 이스 충실도 등을 고려하여 전과정평가의 목적에 맞는 소프트웨어를 선택하는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이라 사료된다.

Abstract

Nowadays, the licensed and developmental LCA softwares have a varieties in database used, functions and costs, that is, each of them have some advantages and disadvantages at the same time in the aspects of economical and functional points. In this study, we reviewed software being used and developed all over the world and evaluated GaBi, KCL-ECO, LCAiT, SimaPro and TEAM^TM among them, containing comprehensive database and functions according to the predefined standards. GaBi follows the LCA's procedure more firmly as defined in ISO 14040 than the others and contains diverse user's friendly interfaces.

Although this study examined only the functional aspect of them, it is recommended to choose a suitable LCA software considering the LCA goal and cost as well as functional aspect
