요약문

본 연구에서는 작업장 외부의 환경문제를 평가하는 방법인 전과정평가(Life Cycle Assessment, LCA)와 작업장 내부의 안전/보건문제를 평가하는 방법인 위해성평가(Risk Assessment, RA)들을 제품단위로 통합하여 새로운 청정도 평가방법을 개발하고자 하였다. LCA는 제품단위의 평가방법이고, RA는 시스템 단위로 평가하는 방법이므로 이들을 제품기준으로 통합 하기 위하여 그 첫 단계로 EDIP(Environmental Design of Industrial Products)방법을 도입하였다. 그리고, 환경성과 안전/보건성을 통합하기 위해 변형된 BEES(Building for Environmental and Economic Sustainability)모델을 적용하 여 청정지수를 산출하였다. 산출된 청정지수는 기존의 전과정평가(LCA)에서는 고려하기 어려운 작업장의 안전/보건성을 포 함하여 통합적으로 평가할 수 있는 유용한 척도로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Abstract

While Life Cycle Assessment(LCA) is evaluating the external environment of the product system based on the functional unit of the system, Risk Assessment(RA) assesses the internal working environment based on the product site. In order to develop a Green Quality Assessment method, both the external and internal aspects of environment are considered in the present study. As the first step, RA is modified to reflect the internal environment based on the product by introducing the EDIP(Environmental Design of Industrial Products)method. Then, the modified BEES(Building for Environmental and Economic Sustainability)model is applied to generate the integrated GQI(Green Quality Indicator). This GQI generated is expected to be used as one of the useful indicators which include the aspects of both natural environment and working environment.
